Desktop Ticker Stocks

 

Desktop Ticker can show the price, change, change in percent, day high and day low of specified stocks using information supplied by Yahoo! Finance.

 

To choose the stocks, click the menu button and select File, Manage Feeds, then select the Yahoo! Finance feed from the list and click the Edit Stock Symbols button. To add a new stock, enter the stock symbol in the Symbol box and click the Add button, for example MSFT for Microsoft, GOOG for Google. If you aren't sure of the stock symbol, click the Lookup Symbols link and type the company name into the Yahoo! Finance Get Quotes function.

 

Note that stock information is delayed by around 15 minutes.

Stocks from non US markets may require a stock exchange code to be appended to the stock symbol. The table below shows the possible codes. For example, to add an ARM Holdings stock (ARM) from the London Stock Exchange (.L), use ARM.L
